The Eagle robot lab was set up in 2018 under the leadership of Lt Gen Arjun Ray, PVSM, VSM (Retd.) Managing director and CEO of Indus trust. The aim of the robot lab is to develop AI technology and humanoid robots to co-exist with humans through an indigenous principle of the collaborative learning model.
The Eagle robot lab designs and manufactures its indigenous humanoid robot Eagle 5.0 which is the only production ready humanoid robot teaching along side the teacher in a classroom. The robot lab has extensively trialed and implemented the humanoid robot teachers in classrooms across programmes in all Indus International schools. The Eagle Robot Lab creates and curates content across different curriculums and programmes for Eagle.
Eagle 5.0 is the fourth generation Eagle which succeeds Eagle 1, 2 and 2 Plus.

Working with the Eagles has improved my understanding of my role as a teacher. The robot has helped me recognise the essential understanding that my learners need to develop and simplify complex concepts. Most importantly, it has helped my learners and me understand _why_ we learn what we learn
The robot classes were very exciting to attend and experience. The content was delivered in a very understandable manner through visual graphics and designs. The robot and graphics made it very easy to take good notes and doubts were also clarified by the robot. Questions asked by the robot are good for revising the concepts that we have learnt and makes it a more interactive learning process.
